How to join

  1. Sign up online. Get a quote and join Good Energy on an interim tariff.
  2. We'll then check your smart meter is set up correctly.
  3. We'll automatically switch you to the EV Charge tariff.

Good to know

Our peak and off-peak timings might not match with your own EV charger timings, so make sure you adjust your settings accordingly to benefit from our off-peak rates.

You'll need a smart meter. Once you've signed up, we'll review your meter and let you know when we've successfully connected to it. If you don't already have a suitable smart meter, we can install one or arrange an upgrade. We may encounter occasional issues such as connection difficulties or inaccurate information on your in-home display. Rest assured, we'll work to fix any problems as quickly as we can.

Billing is paperless and by Direct Debit. This helps us make efficiencies that we can pass on to you. There's nothing to do - by signing up to EV Charge, you'll automatically receive paperless billing and pay by Direct Debit.

This is a fixed-term tariff. If you decide to switch supplier and leave Good Energy before the end of the fixed term, you'll pay an exit fee of £50.
