Good to know
All your home electricity is charged at the applicable rates based on your smart metered time-of-use. Our peak and off-peak timings might not match with your own heating and hot water timings, so make sure you adjust your settings accordingly to benefit from our off-peak rates.
You'll need a smart meter. Once you've signed up, we'll check your meter and let you know when it's successfully connected. If you don't already have a suitable smart meter, we can arrange an installation or upgrade. At the moment, 3-phase and Economy 7 meters aren't compatible with this tariff, and some older smart meters may also need replacing.
Billing is paperless and by Direct Debit. This helps us make efficiencies that we can pass on to you. There's nothing to do - by signing up to Heat Pump, you'll automatically receive paperless billing and pay by Direct Debit.
This is a fixed-term tariff. If you decide to switch supplier and leave Good Energy before the end of the fixed term, you'll pay an exit fee of £75.
Occasionally, you might notice things like connection issues or information on your in-home display not updating correctly. If that happens, we'll work to put things right as quickly as possible.
